Rita has performed internationally and teaches at York University and throughout Prince Edward County.
Roger Scannura is an award-winning flamenco guitarist known internationally for his mastery of Flamenco Puro. Scannura has performed worldwide for dignitaries and celebrities, and currently teaches flamenco guitar at York University.
Barrington Wong is a Toronto-based DJ known for transforming vinyl sessions into immersive, cinematic experiences. With a deep love for concept-driven storytelling, his sets centre on Jazz, 70s Funk, Soul, and Rare Groove—blending nostalgia with discovery. His whimsical, narrative approach turns every performance into a one-of-a-kind sonic journey.
Hannah Barstow is a pianist, vocalist and composer in the Toronto jazz scene. As a performer, she is firmly rooted in the tradition of jazz, and is strongly influenced by the music of Shirley Horn, Ahmad Jamal and Blossom Dearie. As a composer, her motivic melodies, intricate harmonies and intimate lyrics are reminiscent of Jobim compositions, among other jazz standards, but with a modern perspective. Hannah’s unique technique of intertwining the piano and her voice, both in the performance of melodies and in improvisation, is a fresh sound that adds depth to her music.
Duncan Hopkins is a Double bassist, composer and arranger who has been working at the highest levels of jazz for almost thirty years. In that time he has worked with such luminaries as Norma Winstone, Rob McConnell, Scott Hamilton, Houston Person, Peter Appleyard, Ed Bickert, Mark Murphy, Bobo Stenson, Dianna Krall, Sheila Jordan, Kenny Wheeler, Bobby Watson, Sam Rivers, Harry Allen and Edward Simon to name but a few. Duncan was a member of Rob McConnell and the Boss Brass and the highly distinguished Canadian Jazz Quartet for ten years before moving to Europe.
Lenni Stewart is a Kingston-based jazz and blues vocalist, originally from Prince Edward County, known for her richly expressive interpretations of the American Songbook, Bossa Nova, Blues, and Swing. A multiple Maple Blues Award winner, she has collaborated with groups including the Lenni Stewart JAZZTRIO, LS Social Club, Frank Howard Big Band, Torch Lilies, and Stewart & Gallo. Lenni has performed across Ontario in theatres, clubs, wineries, and festivals, and was the opening act for two national tours with Mickey Rooney. Her compelling voice brings pathos, romance, and wit to the work of Broadway and jazz greats.
