initiatives

What are you doing to reduce your environmental impact?

The Royal’s operations are guided by an awareness of our overall footprint. Our main green initiative is working with Edwin County Farms as our primary source of food and produce. Not only is it located just a few kilometers from the hotel, it also uses organic farming techniques and sustainable practices. We use local suppliers when possible and store our prepared foods in compostable packaging. We also limit single-use plastic whenever possible—we’ll happily refill your water bottle any time. Our laundry and housekeeping practices use effective, efficient products that aim to lessen our impact on the environment while still keeping us all safe.

What is your health and safety policy?

Your health and safety is always our top priority. We have put practices in place to ensure that our guests are always taken care of. We follow all public health guidelines carefully and will announce any pertinent changes to our practices on our website.
